Week 11 Cool Tool: Fripgrid

Fripgrid is a wonderful cool tool! At the beginning of the semester, we used Fripgrid to introduce ourselves. It has a benefit that we can look at everyone present themselves for the whole semester. It helps the student get to know each other when going over the name and their introduction, because people may difficult to remember every classmates’ name. Then in our class, after classmate completed their presentation, we need to comment on the Fripgrid. Students can record authentic videos and can reply to each other’s videos. Students can discuss their opinion in the Fripgrid learning community. Fripgrid creates a Grid community can use with school families, friends and more.

Teacher designs the topic like book talks, comment presentation, Read aloud learning the language, Introduction, reflections, Showcase of the products. The possibilities are endless for the presenter to verbalize their learning and their ideas, video feedback, performance. Educators are totally in control with video moderation, access controls, and much more.

Fripgrid is a powerful, easy-to-use recording tool. After submitting the record, the user also can download the video and selfie. Students can try and delete unlimited times till user are satisfied with the video. The selfie can add some stickers & drawings, and trim to perfect after reviewing. It can last from 15 seconds to 5 minutes. It is easy to use in all kinds of device likecomputer, iPad, cell Phone. It can use in Windows, iOS system and Iphone, Android apps.

The teacher creates the topic and gives the code; then everyone shares their voice, idea, and ability. Fripgrid is really a perfect tool for teaching.
