These days online teacher’s group talked about a tool named GimKit. GimKit is made and maintained by high school students from Seattle. It is an interactive quiz game similar like KaHoot and QuizLet. When I build new one kit, I can search the resources sets or my sets. My sets connect the QuizLet.
I can easily import my QuizLet sets convert into GimKit. Then I can edit the Kit and add or remove some questions. Play the assessment game I can choose Classic or Team Mode. Students can work individually or in teams. In "team mode" has four options which include Time, Target, Race, All In. Also, I can choose model buttons of Music, Clapping, answer check. This tool also will give the teacher lots of data to analyze and help to instruct the next lesson.
The key point is students earn in-game money by answering questions. The more questions they answer correctly, the more money they earn. They all excited with the reward of virtual money. So the students will introduce this tool to more teachers. So "learning" connect the "virtual money." What do you think about this model?
Students complete quizzes at their own pace. After students answer questions and earn some money, they can reinvest that money in upgrades. With over 10,000 different combinations, students can purchase upgrades that align with their strengths.
